Wuchiapingian Stage, first of two stages of the Upper Permian (Lopingian) Series, encompassing all rocks deposited during the Wuchiapingian Age (259.9 million to 254.2 million years ago) of the Permian Period.

In 2004 the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS) established the Global Stratotype Section and Point (GSSP) defining the base of this unit along the southern bank of the Hongshui River southeast of Labin, China. The GSSP is located at the lowest reach of Bed 6k in the Labin Limestone and marks the first appearance of the conodont Clarkina postbitteri postbitteri in the fossil record. Important fossil zones for the Wuchiapingian Stage include those containing the fusulinid genera Codonofusiella and Nanlingella and the ammonoid genera Roadoceras and Doulingoceras. The Wuchiapingian Stage overlies the Capitanian Stage and is overlain by the Changhsingian Stage.
