Lawrence asks about the difference between equipment and facility.
Usually, equipment refers to "supplies or tools needed for a special purpose":
sports equipment
The photographer came early to set up his equipment.
He sells medical equipment.

Facility is usually used to mean "something (such as a building) that is built for a specific purpose":
a new sewage-treatment facility
The company built a large manufacturing facility in the next town.
a correctional facility
